Stanley Expands Travel Mugs Line

By Lorrie Baumann

PMI’s Stanley brand is expanding its line of travel mugs with new colors and updated designs that will appeal to consumers who are taking their coffee with them on their commute, out on the job site or out to the fishing cabin.

Stanley’s Classic Trigger-Action Travel Mug and Classic Twin-Lock™ Travel Mug are new for spring 2019 and feature an updated brand logo/look-feel and also new colorways, Nightfall and Polar. The Classic Trigger-Action Travel Mug is a stainless steel double-wall vacuum mug with a push-button lid. It’s leakproof, easy to clean and dishwasher safe, and it will fit into the car’s beverage holder. The 20-ounce mug will retail for $25 and keeps coffee hot for nine hours or a soda cold for 12 hours. The 16-ounce mug will retail for $23 and its contents will stay hot for seven hours or cold for 10.

The Classic Twin-Lock Travel Mug is also made with stainless steel double-wall construction to keep hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold, and it’s also leakproof and very packable. Its Twin-Lock cam-action lid opens wide for easy cleaning, and it’s also dishwasher safe. These also come in 20-ounce and 16-ounce sizes, which retail for the same prices as the Classic Trigger-Action Travel Mugs. The 20-ounce mug will keep hot beverages hot for four hours and cold ones cold for six hours. The 16-ounce mug will keep hot beverages hot for four hours and cold ones cold for five hours.

The company is also launching the new Polar color for its Adventure Vacuum Mug and Adventure Wide Mug this spring. The Adventure Vacuum Mug will appeal to those who want to clip their mugs onto a backpack and haul them up a mountainside for the distinct pleasure of sitting on a rock with a hot meal while enjoying the view as well as to those who are bringing their lunchtime soup along on the subway. The 8-ounce mug is made of stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation that will keep its contents hot for three hours or cold for four hours. It’s leakproof and packable with a versatile lid system, and it’s single-serve brewer compatible. The mug is dishwasher safe and retails for $15.

The Adventure Wide Mug is also coming out in the new Polar color this spring. This 20-ounce mug has a wide base and a non-skid footpad for those of us who might find ourselves setting our coffee down on top of the toolbox in the truck bed. Also made of stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation, it has a leak-resistant flip lid to deal with the slosh that comes with being carried around in a moving vehicle, and it’ll keep its contents hot for four hours or cold for six. It retails for $30.
