NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop Gold Sets New Standard for Countertop Cooktops

NuWave_PIC Gold_for printGo for the gold with the latest technology for smart countertop induction cooktops from NuWave™. Energy-efficient and eco-friendly, the NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop Gold (PIC Gold) features more power, reduced fan noise and an increased cooking surface area, making this the most advanced countertop induction cooktop in the popular NuWave lineup.

NuWave Precision Induction Cooktops are prized for their fast, healthy and even cooking. Now powered by 1,500 watts, the PIC Gold heats up to 50 percent faster than a gas or electric stovetop and it features an enhanced copper heating coil to heat a broader surface.

Unlike conventional stovetops, the PIC Gold does not waste energy: it uses up to 90 percent of the energy it creates. Using highly efficient electromagnetic power, the PIC Gold immediately heats induction-ready cookware once the temperature is set. A new low-noise fan adds to its appeal.

With the PIC Gold, you can control the heat with great precision. There are six main temperature settings on the easy-to-read digital display. You can also adjust the temperature in 10-degree increments, with an expansive temperature range from 100 to 575 degrees Fahrenheit (38 to 302 degrees Celsius), for a total of 52 temperature settings. The PIC Gold is great for boiling, simmering, deep-frying, steaming, searing, slow cooking, barbecuing, melting and grilling – all easier to accomplish with the power and precision of this high-tech countertop appliance.

The PIC Gold is programmable to simplify the lives of busy home cooks. It can be programmed for up to 100 hours, and can be set to automatically change temperatures when you desire. It can also be programmed to shut off after cooking is complete.

Safety features include a fan with automatic shut-off and a shortened one-hour default cooking duration. For added safety, the unit will cease cooking and the induction process will power off when the pan is removed and not replaced within 10 seconds. The user must press the “Start” button to resume cooking. The 10-second delay provides added convenience in addition to the aforementioned safety. Now, you can flip omelets, toss stir-fries, or perform any other cooking task that requires quick pan removal, without needing to restart the cooktop.

There are no open flames, so the surface remains cool to the touch when inactive. It’s also easy to clean because spills won’t burn and stick to the ceramic glass surface.

The NuWave PIC Gold is compact and portable. It can be used as an everyday upgrade from a traditional stovetop or a much-needed extra burner for parties, holidays and special events.

The NuWave PIC Gold package includes a complete cookbook with instructions and recipes, an instructional DVD, Quick Start Guide and registration card. The NuWave PIC Gold has a suggested retail price of $149.99, and is available for immediate shipment.
