Ceramic by Peugeot: New Appolia Oven-Safe Ceramic Cookware Made in France

Peugeot expands into oven-safe glazed ceramic cookware with the Appolia line, made France with traditional methods and materials. Created for flavorful cooking, it features clean, contemporary lines and comes in timeless and trend-forward colors: ecru, red, cobalt blue and slate grey.

The quality is unsurpassed and backed by a 10-year warranty. In 2018, the company purchased BCI (Bretagne Ceramique Industrie), a prominent French ceramics manufacturer established in 1930. This acquisition ties in beautifully with the Peugeot brand, which is defined by its French heritage, generations of expertise, and unsurpassed commitment to quality and innovation.

Appolia Oven-Safe Ceramic Cookware is produced in virtuoso ceramic workshops in the heart of Britany, France, including all steps from product design to manufacturing of the molds, pressing, enameling and firing. With an eye to long-lasting quality, each piece is mono-fired to 2,066 degrees Fahrenheit (1,130 degrees Celsius).

The Appolia line is highly practical and can be used in the oven (up to 480 degrees F/250 degrees C), microwave, freezer and dishwasher. Wide, grooved handles offer an easy, safe grip. Rounded corners facilitate serving and cleaning. High edges expand capacity and allow the retention of cooking juices to preserve and express flavors. The different sizes are stackable, and they nest for space-saving storage.

In line with Peugeot values, the line is made of natural clay and kaolin and is lead-free and cadmium-free. Extra-strong enamels protect against scratching, and the nonstick glaze makes cleaning easy. Appolia ceramic cookware can go directly from freezer to oven, thanks to its very high thermal and mechanical shock resistance.

The collection includes 8-Inch, 10-Inch and 13-Inch Rectangular Bakers and 6.5-Inch, 8.75-Inch and 11.5-Inch Square Bakers, plus Round Oven Cookware with 8.75-Inch and 11-Inch diameters. White cardboard boxing showcases features and benefits while protecting the products and enhancing giftability.

The Peugeot Appolia Oven-Safe Ceramic Cookware is now available for shipment, with suggested retail prices from $27.50 to $50.
