Nesco American Harvest Vacuum Food Sealers

The Metal Ware Corporation has launched a comprehensive vacuum food sealing program under its Nesco American Harvest brand. This exciting, and well received, program includes full-sized vacuum sealer units, a deluxe hand held unit and a full range of patented design rolls, bags and variety packs.

Metal Ware’s opening price point VS-01 Vacuum sealer comes with 20 bags and has a suggested retail price of $69.99. A deluxe unit, the VS-02, features integrated roll storage with bag cutter, an override seal for delicate foods and two bag rolls and 10 pre-made bags. Priced very competitively at $89.99, the VS-02 is an outstanding value. The Nesco units can use competitor bags and rolls, and the competitor units can use the Nesco ones. These full-size vacuum sealers are commercial quality and can stand up to long sealing sessions without overheating and turning off.

In 2015, the line was extended with the introduction of a high quality hand held vacuum sealer. This workhorse has a high-capacity rechargeable battery that can seal up to 50 bags on a single charge. The VS-09HH hand-held sealer comes with four starter bags that feature zip closures and also have a patented sealing port. These high quality bags can be washed and reused over and over. Bag sizes include 10.25 inches by 13.75 inches and 7.87 inches by 9.096 inches and are suitable for boiling, refrigerator storage, freezing and sous vide cooking applications. The VS-09HH comes with a charger stand.
