Fissler Stovetop Pressure Cookers Win Quality Awards

The outstanding quality of Fissler Stovetop Pressure Cookers has recently been recognized by two prestigious German consumer products testing organizations: Stiftung Warentest and ETM Testmagazin.

Both Fissler Stovetop Pressure Cooker Models – Vitaquick and Vitavit – are now in stock and shipping, during a year when demand has soared. Made in Germany and winners of multiple international design awards, they are known for superior technology, quality and design. They cook faster while preserving flavor, texture and nutrients in a way that can only be achieved by cooking in an airtight pan under pressure.

Stiftung Warentest is a German consumer organization focused on unbiased testing and comparison of consumer products. In a 2020 feature on stovetop pressure cookers, it highlighted both Fissler models for strong results in all categories tested. The Fissler Vitavit Premium was the #1 rated model for best results overall, with the judges noting its fast heating, safety and convenience, including its “traffic-light system” pressure display. The Fissler Vitaquick also received high marks for excellent cooking results and easy steam release.

ETM Testmagazin tested the Fissler Vitaquick Pressure Cooker in 2020, giving it an excellent rating. They called out its fast build-up to the ideal pressure level and temperature, and even heat distribution. This popular model also won in the Price-to-Performance Category, validating the practicality of premium quality design.

“For the last few years, American consumers have been discovering the benefits of pressure cooking. Now they’re increasingly wanting the best in pressure cooking, and that’s where Fissler comes in. Whether it’s our top-selling Vitaquick or our newer Vitavit, Fissler sets the standard in quality, convenience and design,” said James McArdle, Interim Managing Director at Fissler America, Inc.

Fissler Vitavit and Vitaquick Pressure Cookers come with a lifetime warranty. The line includes more than 20 SKUs, including sets and individual pieces from 2.7- to 10.6-quart, with suggested retail prices from $179.99 to $449.99.
