DKB Restructures Executive Team for American Operation

Diethelm Keller Group has announced that Rene Stutz was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of DKB Household effective June 2020. Stutz succeeds Will Symonds, who resigned from DKB Household USA and left the business to pursue other business interests.

Stutz joined the company in February in the capacity of Managing Director DKB Household UK. He has considerable experience within the housewares industry globally, including holding executive leadership positions as the chief executive officer of Victorinox Swiss Army, president of Wusthof-Trident of America Inc. and CEO AllClad/Spring Switzerland. His extensive industry knowledge will help shape the strategic direction of the business moving forward.

His appointment follows a strategic review of the global business operations and will consolidate the senior executive function within the UK headquarters where research and development, marketing and supply chain teams are based.

Stutz commented “I am delighted to accept this opportunity to help define and drive the future success of the business moving forward. We have some great brands in our portfolio and I look forward to further developing them to meet the needs of emerging market worldwide.”

In the North American division located in Irvine, California, the senior leadership team is enhanced with the hire of Rene Arnold as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing both the finance and operations functions of the business unit. Rene Arnold too has a wealth of housewares experience having held senior management positions, most recently at Wusthof-Trident of America. Pending further global restructure announcements, the North American division is managed by Rene Stutz, with Rene Arnold leading the daily operations.
