Corkcicle’s Trade Show as Art

Corkcicle stepped outside the traditional trade show mold last year when it featured a live art exhibition which unfolded during the duration of the show.

Corkcicle is back at it again with a new artist and hoping to offer more intrigue and design prowess to the booth hopping experience for attendees. This year the company is teaming up with renowned fine art/graffiti artist Samir Arghandiwall, better known as Evol, as part of a partnership Corkcicle has with Generosity Water.

Evol is well-known in the world of graffiti art, with some of his one-of-a-kind, fine art masterpieces donning various city walls and neighborhoods. His work is distinct with his most notable portraits being those of rosy-cheeked pinups.

For almost 20 years, Evol has offered creative and compelling style that has proven to be inspirational and successful. He has a bachelors degree in fine arts in film/character animation from the California Institute of the Arts. His work is shown at Los Angeles galleries such as Petra Gallerie and Known Gallery.

“Design has always been at the core of everything we do at Corkcicle,” said Stephen Bruner, Partner at Corkcicle. “Last year, we tried something new with having a live art exhibit in our booth. Participants seemed to enjoy the experience. We had people stopping by every day to check in on the progress. For us, this is a unique way to show how the art of design is created. It’s a process and one that takes thoughtfulness and passion. We hope the design elements of our products conjure up those same attributes.”

The finished design will be used as part of a campaign to raise money for Generosity Water in an effort to support and promote World Water Day which is March 22, 2016. In addition, 50 percent off all revenue collected on www.corkcicle.com on World Water Day will be directly donated to Generosity Water.
