Contigo Incorporates Ceramic Mug Feel into Insulated Travel Mug

Ceramic mugs have long been associated with cozy morning coffee at home, and now Contigo® is combining the familiarity of ceramic with the insulation and portability needed for today’s on-the-go lifestyles. The Knox Insulated Ceramic Mug combines a ceramic interior with a sturdy, travel and cup holder-friendly design, allowing busy consumers to extend the comfort of drinking from their favorite mugs into all of the places they call home away from home. Contigo, a leading producer of travel mugs, water bottles and kids bottles, developed the product after tracking consumer demand for ceramic mugs.

Unlike a traditional coffee mug, the Knox Insulated Ceramic Mug can keep beverages hot for up to an hour, thanks to a layer of insulation. At its core, a ceramic mug lines the inside and extends through the top of the cup, providing a wide ceramic lip for drinking. Next, a thick layer of foam insulation wraps around the ceramic mug, insulating it to keep beverages hot and hands cool. Finally, a stainless steel exterior adds an extra layer of durability to the mug.

Knox also boasts additional premium features, including:
