Frieling Adds New BLACK CUBE Cookware Styles

Frieling_BlackCube_Casserole_bc524Frieling is more than doubling its assortment of BLACK CUBE™ Cookware, the first hybrid pan that combines stainless steel cooking results with nonstick clean up, without the compromises. After the retail success of BLACK CUBE Fry Pans and the 12.5-inch Wok, Frieling is rounding out the collection with a Chef’s Pan, Deep Skillet, Casserole, Saucepans and additional open stock Lids.

Winner of the 2015 IHA Innovation Award in the Cookware & Bakeware Category, BLACK CUBE creates the ultimate cooking surface, with its raised stainless steel pixels over a recessed layer of PFOA-free nonstick coating. It is 100 percent scratch resistant and safe for use with metal utensils.

The patented textured surface is designed to deliver the best of nonstick and stainless properties. Ideal for frying or sautéing, it provides the traditional longevity and browning capabilities of a stainless steel pan, plus the easy cleanup and low-fat cooking options of a nonstick surface.

BLACK CUBE features 3-ply stainless-aluminum-stainless construction for even heat transfer and durability. It performs on all cooktops, including induction, and is oven-safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also dishwasher safe for everyday convenience.

Normann Copenhagen Presents the Pinch Cheese Grater

245037_Pinch_Cheese_Grater_Purple_1 Normann CopenhagenNormann Copenhagen expands their range of practical kitchen utensils with an innovative grater. The Pinch Cheese Grater has a built-in collection pan to prevent spills. The sharp grating surface makes Pinch perfect for grating ingredients finely. With its soft, rounded curves, Pinch is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

The designers have updated the traditional grater and made it into an aesthetic and user-friendly design object. The design concept is based on two parts combined in an ergonomic product – a stainless steel grater and a collection pan. The pan is made of a flat piece of plastic that gets its three-dimensional shape by clamping it underneath the grater.

“The idea arose one day when we were having pasta in the studio,” says Böttcher Henssler Kayser, designer of the Pinch Cheese Grater. “After lunch there was cheese all over the table. We realized that this was a general problem with graters. To solve the problem, we designed Pinch – a simple and functional grater.”

2450_Pinch_Cheese_Grater_ALL_1 Normann CopenhagenThe fine grater efficiently grates various cheeses, as well as other types of ingredients such as nutmeg, chocolate, lemon, etc. The two parts can be taken apart easily and put in the dishwasher.

The Pinch Cheese Grater has a suggested retail prices of $17.50 and is available in white, yellow, rose, purple, blue and black. For more information, visit www.normann-copenhagen.com.
