International Innovation Company Transfers Ownership of Family Business

After 30 years of being the face of Vacu Vin and the International Innovation Company (IIC), Bernd Schneider passes the baton to the next generation, his son, Patrick Schneider.

Since 2009, Patrick has helped transform the company and, along with Bernd, develop new products for IIC and other companies worldwide and “The Best Ideas of the Netherlands” television show. “Now it is time to take the next step and take up the reins of the company,” said Patrick.

“In recent years not only has the world changed but so has our organization. The company is constantly evolving in order to meet the demands of the future,” he added “Our current focus is to grow the company in terms of ideas, products and market share and to create new employment opportunities for individuals who sometimes experience barriers to the labor market.”

Patrick has consolidated the International Innovation Company brands under a new brand identity: Dutch Creative Brands (DCB). DCB plans to add brands and or companies to the organization in order to reach a truly global market.

“I will always be associated with the company but will now be able to focus on new initiatives, and, of course, enjoy some free time,” said Bernd.
