Excalibur Debuts Stackable-Tray Dehydrator
As Excalibur’s first stackable dehydrator, the new Excalibur ECB50B ranks superior in performance and design and is equipped with innovative technology for low temperature food drying. The low temperature drying process helps retain the nutrients in fresh produce, herbs, meats, and more. This is a more efficient preservation technique compared to canning or sun-drying.
Excalibur’s ECB50B is BPA-Free and manufactured for consumer use. The ECP50B is equipped with an adjustable thermostat (95F-165F) to provide various temperature options for drying all types of food at a fraction of the cost of store-bought dried snacks. From fruits and vegetables to herbs and meats, you can dry it all in an Excalibur.
To make the dehydrator more versatile, Excalibur includes four yogurt cups to make all-natural, preservative-free yogurts and two BPA-Free drying trays to dry liquid mixtures like fruit puree into all-natural fruit leathers and roll-ups.
Additional product highlights include a unique separate tray design, providing consumers the capacity to dehydrate various items simultaneously without mixing flavors.
Continuing the brand’s reputation for excellence, the Excalibur ECB50B incorporates the company’s Parallex™ Horizontal Air Flow. This trademarked system provides superior drying performance, resulting in the most efficient heat and dry combination on the market.
The unit features a sleek, square design, a black base, black lid, five gray trays, five mesh screens, two fruit roll sheets, four yogurt cups, an instruction manual and a handy quick start guide with recipes. At 13.5 inches long, 13 inches high, 11 inches wide and weighing 9.5 pounds, the Excalibur ECB50B will be available at Bed, Bath and Beyond in January 2015, priced at $139.99.
