New LidLover’s Patented Design Seals Multiple Size Bowls

QkZGNjBGRDMzRDIxN0ZGNkUzRDQ6MTE1MWU2YWM2OTRlZGE5OGFjODFmMzdkYWQ5ZDg1M2Q6Ojo6OjA=Break-free from the chore of finding matching lids to containers, and de-clutter chaotic kitchen cupboards with the new LidLover™, a cleverly designed universal lid that fits multiple size bowls and containers.

LidLover is the invention of Patricia Anthony, proud wife, mom and grandmother of four, who after years of frustration with misplaced and melted lids overflowing in her pantry, decided to take action. Her mission was to reduce clutter, stress and waste by creating a durable, stackable lid that stores easily and provides a perfect seal on numerous size bowls.

“At first, I searched the market to see if anything existed to solve the problem of missing lids, which I knew was a very common annoyance. When my search came up empty, I decided to solve this kitchen problem myself and set to work on designing LidLover,” says Patricia Anthony. “I came up with this name because I truly want everyone to make peace with his or her lids.”

Nearly five years in the making, the patented LidLover is made of BPA-free food grade silicone with unique rings or grooves along the edge that stretch over the rim of varying sizes of bowls and other vessels to create an airtight seal. Space saving, strong and flexible, LidLover is also an economical and eco-friendly alternative to using disposable foil and plastic wrap. Top rack dishwasher safe for no-fuss cleaning, LidLover is conveniently microwave oven, freezer, and oven safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Crafted in a translucent fresh honeydew melon shade, LidLover is perfect for everyday meal prep and storage, as well as for use at picnics, potlucks, beach parties, barbecues, and other al fresco dining and entertaining occasions.

LidLover’s airtight seal can be easily achieved on any type of bowl, such as ceramic, glass, stainless steel, or natural bamboo, as well as plastic containers. It insures food can be transported safely anywhere, without risk of messy leaks and spills. Additionally, Lidlover can be placed over bowls and plates of food (without sealing) for safe reheating in the microwave oven.

Available now at Amazon.com, Lidlover is offered as individual pieces or sets, with new shapes, colors and sizes debuting in June 2015. Suggested retail prices range from $19.95 to $9.95.
