BlueAvocado (re)zips Win International Green GOOD DESIGN Award

blueavocadoBlueAvocado® (re)zip® reusable storage bags have received the International 2015 Green GOOD DESIGN™ Award recognizing them as “one of the world’s most important examples of sustainable design.” Granted by The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, BlueAvocado (re)zip seal (lunch-2 pack) was selected as one among 100 products and programs from hundreds of submissions from 22 nations. Recipients were chosen by Members of The European Center’s International Advisory Committee, worldwide leaders in the design industry.

As one of only 16 U.S. recipients and the only B Corp, BlueAvocado joins some of the world’s most innovative companies, design firms and manufacturers forwarding a new emphasis on design to preserve our environment. Green GOOD DESIGN is in its seventh year as a specialized edition of the original GOOD DESIGN program which was founded in Chicago in 1950 and remains the oldest and most prestigious design awards program worldwide.
