The long ceramic baker, nearly 14-inches, is designed with handles to make it easy to remove the baker from the oven and to flip the baker over to release a loaf of bread. Ridges on the inside base or bottom of the baker help to prevent dough from sticking to the baker. An ample dusting of flour before adding the dough is all that is needed for easy release of the bread.
